Hillary Rodham Clinton signs copies of her memoir Hard Choices

The big day is here. Common Good Books is thrilled to welcome Hillary Rodham Clinton to ​sign copies of her new book in ​our store.

Over a thousand people will be coming to Common Good Books on Sunday. To make sure everything goes smoothly and that everyone gets their chance to say hello to Secretary Clinton, please observe a few guidelines.

Please arrive by 12:45pm.

We’ll open the doors at 12:45pm, so that we can begin the signing as promptly as possible. Please don’t be late.

Our address is 38 S Snelling Ave, St Paul MN 55105 (map). Street parking is available near the store, but please allow extra time to find a space. Or consider taking the bus. We’re on both the 84 and 63 lines, and the new light rail line is only a mile or so to the north. Visit www.metrotransit.org to plan your trip, and let them do the driving.

Please bring your ticket.

No one will be admitted without a ticket. We cannot replace lost or missing tickets.

Please don’t bring much else.

No bags, backpacks, purses, or other belongings will be permitted in the store during this event. You may not bring cameras or water bottles into the store. A bag check will be available for items you cannot leave in your car. All attendees and their belongings will be subject to search, including metal detector.

Please, no “selfies” at the signing table.

You’re welcome to take pictures while you’re in line, but once you near the signing table, all cellphones (and wallets) must be returned to your pocket. Secretary Clinton will only sign copies of Hard Choices.
