Emily Dickinson Reading Marathon

 

 

 

Once again, Common Good Books is proud to co-sponsor the Emily Dickinson Marathon taking place April 26 at the University of St. Thomas O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library.  From 8 a.m. to 9 or 10 p.m. all 1,789 poems will be read in order. People may come and go as they please, just listening or joining the ever-changing circle of readers.  Outside of the O’Shaughnessy Room, where the reading takes place, attendees may peruse student displays on Dickinson, eat baked goods made with her recipes, and enter a drawing for one of the twenty copies of Ralph Franklin’s Poems of Emily Dickinson donated by Common Good Books.
