About the Author

Pietro De Marchi (Seregno, 1958) is a Titularprofessor of Italian at the University of Zurich and a Professeur associé at the University of Neuchâtel, where he lectures in Comparative Literature. He also teaches at the University of Bern. A widely published critic and editor of scholarly editions, he is an award winning poet.
