About the Author

Pat Barone is the mother of five children, twins Andrea and Caroline, Richard, Stewart, and Molly. When her children were young she recorded their funny sayings and antics in a diary. She is a native of North Carolina and a graduale of Meredith College. In B. C., her lifetime before children, she was a teacher. While teaching in an Army Dependents School in Mannheim-Kafertal, Germany she met her husband Bob. They have lived in Seattle, San Mateo, California, and now reside in Ohio. Underneath the Ohio Buckeye is an N.C. Tar Heel who loves ACC basketball, the Outer Banks, and seafood. Now that her children are grown, she writes, plays the piano, volunteers for the performing arts, and paints portraits of her ten grandchildren, Ashley, Zack, Alex, Carley, Will, Hannah, Madison, Samantha, Madeline, and Allision.
