Cloud City Press launches their newest book at Common Good Books The stories in MP Johnson’s The Final Failure of a Professional Small Animal Insider-Outer and Other Stories transport the reader to a world where the grotesque is taken for granted and humor abounds. A young man tries to take his profession as a sculptor of small animals to new heights. The washed up creator of a beloved children's television series struggles against a B-grade spanish horror movie director for the soul of his creation. And a disaffected young man in Wisconsin travels through time (or not) with the assistance of the severed head of an extraterrestrial he discovered in a dumpster in order to save his future daughter's life. It's the stuff of nightmares, but the kind that leave you laughing in your sleep. ---- MP Johnson is a Twin Cities-based horror writer from Wisconsin who has published over 25 short stories in various publications on three continents and has put out three chapbooks. He is also the founder of the Midwest punk and horror zine Freak Tension. ---- Cloud City Press is a startup literary chapbook press based out of the Twin Cities. They  published their first chapbook April of this year. The Final Failure of a Professional Small Animal Insider-Outer and other Stories will be their fourth book to date.
