Dave Ryan grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he was a mediocre student, was chosen last in gym class, and never quite made Eagle Scout. Only upon discovering his love for radio did Dave make an effort at something for the first time in his life. Dave has worked in radio in his hometown, Las Vegas, Nevada; Columbus, Ohio; and Phoenix, Arizona, where he was fired twice in two years. He came to Minneapolis in 1993 to host the morning show on 101.3 KDWB.
