3 Poets celebrate fifty years of Nodin Press: Sharon Chmielarz, Tim Nolan, and Joyce Sutphen

Sharon Chmielarz’s latest book, her eleventh, is Little Eternities. Kirkus Reviews named her tenth book of poetry, The Widow’s House, one of 100 Best Indie Books in 2016. Her poems have appeared in magazines like The Notre Dame Review, The Iowa Review, Prairie Schooner, The Hudson Review, The North American Review, North Dakota Quarterly, Commonweal, Salmagundi, The Seneca Review, Louisiana Literature, Ontario Review, CutBank, and others.

Tim Nolan’s  latest book, The Field, was published by New Rivers Press in 2016. 

His other books include And Then (New Rivers Press, 2012), and  The Sound of It (New Rivers Press, 2008)

Joyce Sutphen’s  first collection of poems, Straight Out of View (1995), won the Barnard Women’s Poets Prize. Subsequent collections include Coming Back to the Body (2000), a Minnesota Book Award finalist, Naming the Stars (2004), winner of the Minnesota Book Award, and First Words (2010).She has received a McKnight Artist Fellowship and a Minnesota State Arts Board Fellowship and was named Minnesota's Poet Laureate in 2011.

Her latest collection is Green House  published in April 2017.
